💖 Make clients LOVE working with you

Hello Reader,

It’s been another busy week here at VAHB HQ.

I’ve just finalised a project plan for something we’re working on for September, and I am BUZZING with excitement! Can’t wait to share more about this next month so keep your eyes peeled for updates coming soon… 👀

I also attended my first Goldman Sachs 10KSB alumni event at The Serpentine in London and it was fantastic. One of the speakers even gave me a personal shout out and told the entire audience she couldn’t wait to work with my VA business so fingers crossed we can get her signed up asap!

Finally, how awesome was last week’s Espresso AI newsletter written by the fabulous Martha Kilner?!

It was a bumper issue packed with so much helpful information and I’m really grateful to those of you who shared your lovely feedback.

Here's a couple of the amazing comments we received:

“The Espresso AI newsletter this month is brilliant! I’ve already put the social media analysis into practice and I’ll definitely be using some of the other bits you’ve included. I can’t actually believe how much is in there for just £5 too!“

“Just a quick note to say I loved the content today. Brilliant. Really useful to me to think about.”

You can find out more and sign up here if you want to up your game with AI.

It's here to stay, and if you don't keep up, you risk being replaced by a VA who does.

🎙️Make clients LOVE working with you

What if the easiest way to grow your business isn't finding more clients, but looking after the ones you already have?

In this week's episode of The Visionary VA Podcast, I'm taking you through a simple 7-step client experience audit to help you review every stage of your client journey - from first impressions and onboarding to day-to-day communication, reviews and even offboarding.

Exceptional client experiences lead to longer relationships, more referrals and happier clients.

If you're looking for a simple way to strengthen your business without constantly chasing new enquiries, this episode is a great place to start. 💖

📅 VA Meet Ups

Chelmsford

Last week we held our first Chelmsford VA meet up and had a great turn out with a lovely crowd! I forgot to take a pic until a couple of people had left (whoops 🙈) but the conversations were fantastic with some great questions and a huge amount of value shared from those with more experience.

From newbies to those who’d been in business for over a decade, it was really great to see people coming together and building their network of fellow VAs. Our industry really does make me bloody proud sometimes!

Anyway, it was so much fun we’re doing it again on Friday 9th October so if you’re based in Essex and want to join us, get the date in your diary and sign up here.

London

We were planning to host our first Picnic in the Park event in London during August but having sounded a few people out, it didn’t really seem to be quite the right vibe so I’m going to look at doing something later in the year.

If you’re based in or around London and would be interested in joining a meet up around Liverpool Street, hit reply and let me know!

And if you have a request for another location, drop me a note and we’ll see if we can factor it into our schedule. 🤞

Have a great rest of your week!

Hi Reader,Remember that exciting project I’ve been teasing for the past few weeks?Well… I can FINALLY tell you what it is. 🥳This September, I’m launching All Stars - a brand new community for established VAs who want to grow their businesses, make things happen and have access to some incredible people around them while they do it.And honestly, it’s something I wish I’d had when I was growing my own business. One of the things I’ve realised over the past eight years is that running a business...

Hi Reader,Have you ever read a book that just hits you right when you need it? Like it was written just for you? Well, for me, that book was She Means Business by Carrie Green, founder of the Female Entrepreneur Association. There were so many golden nuggets in this book, but I thought I'd share three of the lessons that truly transformed my mindset and, in turn, my business. 1. The power of belief Carrie talks a lot about believing in yourself first, even when the results aren't there yet....

Hello Reader,Would you be offended if someone described your business as boring?I think a few years ago I probably would have been. But eight years into running my business, I've started to think that a little bit of boring might actually be something to aim for. Predictable income. Reliable systems. Consistent marketing. Clients who know exactly what to expect. A team who understands how things work. It might not make for the most exciting Instagram post, but it does make for a business that...
